Bloat and torsion
• Since you have spent such a nice day with the dog. Intense Gassigehen and still nice to eat and lay down for afternoon nap. Suddenly you are awakened by gagging sounds. The dog is curled up there and tries to vomit. Somehow, the stomach appears so thick. Now fast action is required. Call, pack up the dog and immediately introduce to the vet. Suspected stomach rotation.

• One should act fast: without surgery, the dog can not be helped!
The stomach has turned around its own axis and thus constricted input and output. The food in the stomach ferments in front of itself and forms gas whereby the pressure in the abdominal cavity is getting bigger. Breathing is also difficult and the circulation subsides, the dog slips into a life-threatening shock!

• Large breeds of dogs are predisposed to this disease due to anatomical conditions. The young dogs are particularly endangered after eating, so if they romp around and so the food in the stomach gets upset, this can cause the stomach to turn. Therefore, all dogs should rest for at least two hours after eating.
